     The Midlands of South Carolina is due for some heavy rain over the coming days. Even though the vendors could go indoors or under cover, attendance would be far less than what it would have been. otherwise

This Blog is Four Years Old

     According to Tumblr, I began this blog four years ago yesterday. Around that time I started submitting my poetry here and there, eventually working up to my first book, Places and Times.

     About 115,000 hits have been received, from dozens of countries. Friends and strangers have stopped by. Some even have checked me out on Facebook. My deepest thanks to everyone! My hope is that I will continue to make this interesting to you and to others.

    And who knows what the next four years will hold?

I read this again this past week at Mind Gravy in Columbia, SC. A few people told me they really liked it. Now enjoy it here. Thanks to many supporters, it will be available to all form June 22, 2018 through Finishing Line Press, when  Saluda Reflections is released!

A Bit of a Lull Now

    Thanks to so many people who ordered Saluda Reflections pre-publication from Finishing Line Press! Now the presses will run for a June 22, 2018 shipment.

    The book can still be ordered, but until it ships, ONLY from th

e publisher. After it ships, then it will be available in the usual places and in various formats.

    College course is over, and the high school winds down. That means I am in a bit of a lull. I am writing a little for this and that, promoting, and being able to read again some of the books on my shelf.

    I will update everyone on what I am doing and whom I am reading here!
