A Many-Layered, Thought-Provoking Film

    A Fortunate Man (Lykke Per)  is a 2016 Danish film now on Netflix. Running almost for three hours ( it's based on eight novels), , the film probes issues of faith, character, and overcoming childhood problems. There is also a glimpse into the healing power of nature.
   Lest anyone think that any state church stifles true religion, any religious expression can do so. Yes ,I am a Lutheran pastor, and know about "gloomy Danes", but there are some positive examples portrayed
   The cast and cinematography care exec. I want to visit Denmark!
