Greatest Lyric Couplet of All Time?


     My family heard Glen Campbell sing this Jimy Webb composition live in 1996 at the former Opry Land Amusement Park in Nashville. An excellent show by an excellent performer/musician, and it remains a favorite song. Another proof of poetry in music. Read what Literary Hub said about it:
