Interesting Movie About Artistic Friends

   19th Century France literally pulsed with creative endeavor in all of the arts. Cézanne et moi was filmed last year; I watched it toda
y on Netflix. If you do not like subtitles or explicit language, this movie will not please you.

    But it is worth watching for its depiction of a friendship. Zola is the moi of the title. The movie also shows how creativity is unpredictable and how artists struggle not only to create, but to find their place in the world.
